Before your treatment, we’ll evaluate your skin type and discuss your aesthetic goals. Our team will help you choose the right type of peel—light, medium, or deep. You may be asked to avoid certain skincare products or medications in the days leading up to your session to ensure optimal results and minimize sensitivity.
Chemical peel sessions usually take less than 30 minutes. After cleansing the skin, your provider applies the solution, which may cause mild tingling or warmth. Once the desired level of exfoliation is reached, the peel is neutralized or removed. You’ll leave the office with post-care instructions and, in most cases, very little redness or irritation.
Post-treatment, your skin may feel tight and appear slightly red—similar to a mild sunburn. Over the next few days, you might experience light peeling as dead skin sheds to reveal a fresher layer. We’ll provide you with a specialized aftercare kit to support healing. Avoid sun exposure and follow the care guidelines to achieve the best results.
