Before treatment, our skilled professionals will evaluate your skin, discuss your goals, and create a customized treatment plan. To minimize the risk of post-treatment bruising or swelling, it is advisable to abstain from alcohol, anti-inflammatories (such as Advil, Motrin, or Aleve), aspirin, and vitamin E for up to a week before your DAXXIFY® procedure.
During your DAXXIFY® treatment, a certified injector carefully administers the product using a fine needle to target specific areas. The procedure is quick, typically taking just a few minutes, and is designed to be virtually painless.
After receiving DAXXIFY® treatment, you might notice mild bruising, which typically fades on its own within a few days. Avoid massaging the treated area to ensure optimal results. Expect to see noticeable improvements shortly after treatment, with effects that can last for up to six months!
Like many other neuromodulators, DAXXIFY is a quick “lunchbreak” procedure that requires virtually no downtime. Most patients experience minimal discomfort and can resume regular activities immediately.
However, to maximize your results and prevent unwanted spread of your injection, we recommend taking the following precautions for at least 48 hours following treatment:

Unlike other neuromodulators, DAXXIFY stands apart because its innovative peptide-powered solution doesn’t contain human or animal-based components, making it a safe option for vegans.
Most patients see results 1 to 2 days following treatment, which is notably faster than BOTOX and other neurotoxins.
Your DAXXIFY results should last approximately 6 months—nearly twice as long as other neurotoxins, which typically last 3 to 4 months. Results fade when your facial muscles return to their normal function, but you can remain frown-free by scheduling touch-up treatments. In clinical studies, at least 50% of DAXXIFY patients had no minor frown lines 6 months after treatment, and some patients still had noticeable improvement 9 months or later.
The cost of your treatment typically depends on how many units of DAXXIFY we administer to achieve your desired results. DAXXIFY usually costs more than other neurotoxin treatments, but keep in mind that your results have more longevity.
